HealthForce Partners Executive Director Appointed to the San Joaquin County Workforce Development Board
Dr. Paul Lanning Fills Vacant Seat on Workforce Development Board for County to Support Next Chapter of Regional Career Growth
STOCKTON, Calif; January 23rd, 2024 – HealthForce Partners, a healthcare sector partnership for the Northern San Joaquin Valley, is pleased to announce its Executive Director, Paul Lanning’s appointment to the San Joaquin County Workforce Development Board by the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. In this role, he will aid in playing a central role in the economic well-being of both businesses and individuals in the county by ensuring that publicly-funded workforce programs and services are aligned with their needs.

Lanning, a Lodi resident, possesses an accomplished track record of transformational leadership, consultation, and growth of nonprofit organizations. Bringing a wealth of entrepreneurial experience, along with industry accolades in marketing, communications, and fundraising, Lanning has contributed to raising over $200 million for charitable causes. His background includes two decades of leadership roles that span local, regional, and statewide levels in positions such as President/CEO of the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Vice President for University Advancement at San José State University, and Assistant Vice President of Development at University of the Pacific, and he has served as a consultant to numerous other nonprofit organizations throughout the state. Lanning has also taught graduate courses in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, marketing, program review and grant writing at University of the Pacific.
