Contra Costa/Tri-Valley Region

HealthForce Partners California expanded its regional healthcare workforce model into Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley region in 2026. This employer-led partnership is educating, recruiting, and retaining the healthcare professionals employers in the Contra Costa/Tri-Valley area need.

This partnership represents an important piece of HealthForce Partners evolution toward a multi-region healthcare sector nonprofit organization that brings healthcare employers, educators, public agencies and community organizations together to develop locally responsive career pathways.

Over the next three to five years, HealthForce Partners California and its regional partners in Contra Costa and the Tri-Valley intend to build a self-sustaining partnership that aligns educational opportunities with workforce demand, expanding “grow-your-own” advancement programs for current healthcare employees and producing measurable reductions in vacancies, turnover, and hiring time.
