Nursing Pathway
Local nurses, lifelong impact.
HealthForce Partners California is proud to support the HOPE (Helping Our People Elevate) Program for Nursing, an accelerated, 18-month registered nursing program designed to elevate local talent into meaningful healthcare careers. Built through a powerful collaboration of healthcare employers and educators, the program helps working adults and high school students become Registered Nurses (RNs) while staying rooted in their communities.
Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. They care for patients, educate families, and provide critical support across every part of the care journey. Through the HOPE Program, we’re expanding this essential workforce and starting right here at home.
Why It Matters
The HOPE Program isn’t just creating jobs. It’s transforming lives and meeting urgent workforce needs by:
- Supporting current healthcare employees and local high school students
- Offering accelerated education pathways through San Joaquin Delta College
- Providing wraparound support so students can succeed without leaving the workforce
Results That Speak for Themselves
100+ future nurses enrolled
92% graduation rate
100% NCLEX-RN exam pass rate
95% of graduates still employed as RNs in San Joaquin County one year later
Now piloting in Stanislaus County
In Their Words: HOPE Nurses on the Pathway to Purpose
For years, getting admitted into a nursing program felt out of reach. But I was accepted into HOPE and admitted directly into Delta College’s accelerated program. Through this opportunity, I was finally able to improve the economic conditions for myself and my family.
