Citlali Vazquez

Citlali Vazquez is a public health professional passionate about helping individuals and communities access opportunities that support healthier and more successful futures. She attended the University of California, Merced where she earned a degree in Public Health. She holds a strong interest in health equity, community engagement, and addressing the barriers that can prevent individuals from accessing education, healthcare, and career opportunities.

Citlali brings experience in leadership, outreach, and community engagement to her role as Healthcare Careers Navigator. Her experiences as a mentor, student leader, and member of her university community strengthened her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, communicate effectively, and create supportive environments.

Citlali is passionate about giving back to the communities that have shaped her. She believes access to the right resources, encouragement, and support can make a meaningful difference in a student’s future. Through her work as a healthcare careers navigator, Citlali is committed to empowering students as they explore pathways into healthcare careers by inspiring students to pursue their goals, discover careers they are passionate about, and see themselves as future leaders in the healthcare workforce.
