HealthForce Partners brings together leaders from healthcare, education, and workforce development to plan and implement workforce strategies that meet the needs of the region’s employers and expand educational and work opportunities for community residents.

The partnership convenes key stakeholders and other major healthcare employers to identify workforce gaps and develop pilot programs to address them.

Examples of pilot programs currently in development include:

Registered Nurse Pathway
Provide Nursing prerequisites training to students in grades 11 and 12 to “fast-track” into a nursing program after graduation.
Certified Nursing
Assistant Pathway
Increase the pipeline of Certified Nursing Assistants to fill the high level of vacancies in the long-term care setting.
Medical Assistant Pathway
Provides high-quality Medical Assistant training leading to state certification to high-school students and adults with limited educational attainment.
Clinical Lab
Scientist Pathway
Advance Clinical Lab Scientist pathways and improve regional hiring and retention of individuals in the field.
